In 1987, Trish and Graham McGill founded M Electrical in Umtentweni with a vision to provide efficient and friendly service to the local community. Their commitment to excellence quickly gained recognition, allowing the business to grow exponentially. As a result, M Electrical relocated to Rathboneville in order to accommodate its expanding operations. In 1994, another move was necessary, and the company found its new home in Port Shepstone.
In 2001, Gert Stoltz acquired M Electrical, injecting fresh energy into the enterprise. Today, Gert and his son Johan continue to lead the company, carrying forward the tradition of exemplary service and unparalleled product quality. Our journey has been one of consistent growth and success, evident in the opening of branches in Margate, Kokstad, Matatiele, Mthatha and most recently, Cape Town in January 2023.
At M Electrical, we cater to a diverse range of clientele, including leading property developers, electrical and building contractors, municipalities, industrial factories, retail outlets, as well as the general public. Our customer base spans from KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, and as far inland as Matatiale, reaching as far as Richards Bay in the North.
Driven by the increasing demand for our products and services, we are committed to further expansion. We are proud to announce the forthcoming opening of branches in Johannesburg, and Pretoria. These strategic locations will allow us to serve a broader clientele and continue our mission of being the premier electrical wholesaler in the region.
